POLICIES

Please review the following policies before booking with Just Newborn Photography. By paying your retainer and booking a session, you acknowledge and agree to these policies. A full photography agreement will also be required.

BOOKING & PAYMENT

• A $100 non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your session date.

• Your session is not officially booked until the retainer has been received.

• The remaining balance is due 48 hours before your scheduled session.

• Credit/debit cards, Klarna, and Affirm are available upon request and must be paid in advance, and will not be accepted the day of the session as prep of proper documents will need to be prepared.

• Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, and Apple Pay are preferred payment methods.

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

• Retainers are non-refundable and apply toward your session balance.

• At least 48 hours' notice is required to reschedule your session.

• Rescheduling with less than 48 hours' notice may require a new retainer to reserve another date.

• Same-day cancellations or no-shows forfeit the original retainer and require a new full retainer to rebook.

• Exceptions may be made for documented medical emergencies or illness at the photographer's discretion.

• Please contact me as soon as possible if you or your child is sick.

LATE ARRIVALS

Please arrive on time for your scheduled session. Late arrival time will be deducted from your scheduled session time and may result in fewer setups or images. Additional time is not guaranteed.

NEWBORN SESSIONS

Newborn sessions are baby-led. Poses, setups, and specific images cannot be guaranteed and will always depend on baby's comfort, safety, and cooperation.

For the best chance of achieving sleepy newborn poses, sessions are recommended within the first two weeks after birth. Booking during pregnancy is highly encouraged.

MATERNITY SESSIONS

Maternity sessions are best scheduled between 28–34 weeks of pregnancy. Partners are welcome unless otherwise stated in the selected collection.

CAKE SMASH SESSIONS

Parents are responsible for providing baby's outfit and cake unless cake ordering and pickup has been purchased as an add-on.

Just Newborn Photography is not responsible for allergic reactions or sensitivities related to cakes, foods, outfits, props, or other client-provided items. Please notify me of any known allergies before your session.

IMAGE SELECTION & GALLERIES

• The number of edited images included depends on the collection purchased.

• Additional images may be purchased separately.

• Proof images are not final edited photographs and may not be downloaded, screenshot, edited, shared, posted, or used in any way before purchase.

• Unpurchased proof images may be permanently deleted 2 weeks after gallery delivery.

• RAW/unedited images are not included with your collection.

EDITING

All final images are professionally edited in the signature style of Just Newborn Photography.

Additional retouching or editing outside of my normal editing process may require an additional fee. Filters, screenshots, re-editing, or altering delivered images is not permitted.

PORTFOLIO PERMISSION CREDIT

Clients who give Just Newborn Photography permission to use select images for portfolio, website, social media, advertising, and marketing purposes may receive a $100 Portfolio Permission Credit toward their collection.

Portfolio permission is completely optional and is not required to book a session.

CHILD & FAMILY SAFETY

Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times while in the studio.

For newborn sessions, baby's safety will always come before achieving a particular pose or image. I reserve the right to modify or discontinue any pose or setup that I feel cannot be performed safely.

PET POLICY

Pets are permitted only with prior approval.

Clients are fully responsible for the supervision, behavior, and control of their pets while on studio property. The client is responsible for any injury, bite, accident, property damage, cleaning expense, or other damage caused by their pet.

Just Newborn Photography is not responsible or liable for the actions or behavior of a client's pet.

STUDIO DAMAGE

Clients are responsible for damage caused by themselves, their children, guests, or pets to studio property, equipment, furniture, props, backdrops, or décor.

Repair, replacement, or excessive cleaning costs may be charged to the client.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Please keep track of all personal belongings during your session. Just Newborn Photography is not responsible for lost, stolen, forgotten, or damaged personal items.

CREATIVE CONTROL

By booking, clients acknowledge that they are hiring Just Newborn Photography based on the photographer's portfolio and artistic style.

Exact poses, expressions, props, setups, or specific photographs are not guaranteed.
